Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Lushai Tech ("we", "us") for your use of the Lungdi mobile app and this website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who can use Lungdi

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
• You must not have been convicted of, or be required to register as an offender for, any sexual or violent offence.
• You may have only one account, and it must be your own.
• You must not have been banned from Lungdi before.

2. Your account

You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping your phone and codes secure and for everything that happens on your account. Your profile must be accurate, and your photos must show you. Tell us at lushaitechnologies@gmail.com straight away if you think your account has been compromised.

3. Community rules

Treat people with respect. You must not post, upload, send, share or store anything that:

• belongs to someone else and you have no right to use;
• is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, or invades another person's privacy, including their bodily privacy;
• insults or harasses anyone on the basis of gender, or is racially or ethnically objectionable, hateful or discriminatory;
• relates to or encourages money laundering, gambling, or any other illegal activity;
• is harmful to children;
• infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
• deceives or misleads anyone about where a message came from, or knowingly spreads false or misleading information;
• impersonates another person, or uses someone else's photos;
• threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with other countries, or public order, or incites any offence;
• contains viruses or any code designed to interrupt, destroy or limit any computer resource; or
• breaks any law in force.

You also must not:

• harass, threaten, bully, stalk or intimidate anyone, on or off the Service;
• send sexual content to someone who has not clearly asked for it;
• ask anyone for money, promote a business, spam or run scams;
• offer or ask for sexual services;
• share anyone's private information, or screenshots of private conversations, without their consent;
• use bots, scrapers or automation, or try to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or get around the security or paywall of the Service; or
• use the Service for anything other than personal, non-commercial dating.

4. Your safety

Selfie verification only checks that a selfie matches the profile picture. It does not check identity, background or intentions. We do not run criminal background checks on users. You are responsible for your interactions with other users. When you meet someone, meet in a public place, tell a friend where you are going, and never send money to someone you met on the Service. If you are in danger, call 112.

5. Reporting, moderation and termination

• You can block, hide or report any user in the app. Anyone, including people without an account, can also report a profile or content by emailing our Grievance Officer at lushaitechnologies@gmail.com.
• Chats are end-to-end encrypted, so we cannot read them. If you report a conversation, include the messages or screenshots that matter.
• If you break these Terms or the law, we may remove content, limit features, suspend your account, or permanently ban it, with or without notice. Serious or repeated breaches will lead to a permanent ban.
• We remove or disable access to content showing a person in a sexual or intimate way, or impersonating them (including morphed images), within 24 hours of a complaint by that person or someone on their behalf.
• We comply with lawful orders from courts and government agencies, which may require us to remove content or share information about an account.
• You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what happens to your data.

6. Free and paid features

Without a subscription you can browse profiles in your feeds, save a limited number of favourites, and receive notifications. A Lungdi subscription unlocks full profiles, sending and accepting connection requests, chat, profile insights, and in-app block, hide and report. You can always report a user by email, with or without a subscription.

7. Subscriptions and payments

• Subscriptions are sold for fixed periods (currently 3, 6 or 12 months). The price for each period, including applicable taxes, is shown in the app before you pay. There is no free trial.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price until you turn off auto-renewal. We will remind you in the app before your subscription ends.
• App Store purchases are charged to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel them in your Apple ID subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
• Razorpay purchases use an autopay (e-mandate) set up with your card, bank or UPI app. As required by the Reserve Bank of India, your bank or card issuer will notify you before each renewal charge. You can turn off auto-renewal in the app (and turn it back on) or cancel the mandate through your bank or UPI app.
• If a renewal payment fails, we may keep your access for a short grace period while the payment is retried. If it still fails, the subscription ends.
• When you turn off auto-renewal, your paid features stay active until the end of the period you have paid for. Payments are not refunded for a partly used period, except where the law, Apple's policy, or a mistake on our side requires it. Nothing in these Terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
• If we ban your account for breaking these Terms, you will not get a refund for the remaining period.
• Deleting the app or your account does not by itself cancel an App Store subscription.

8. Your content

You own what you post. By posting it, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, copy, resize, display and process it only to run the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep it by law. You confirm that you have the right to post everything you upload. Private messages are end-to-end encrypted. We only store and deliver them in encrypted form, and this licence gives us no right to read them.

9. Our rights

The Service, including its name, logo, design and software, belongs to Lushai Tech. You may not copy, modify or distribute any part of it without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always be available or error-free, or that you will find a match. We are not responsible for what other users do, on or off the Service.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Lushai Tech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your interactions with other users. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your conduct towards other users.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact our Grievance Officer first so we can try to resolve any problem. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Aizawl, Mizoram, India. This does not limit your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. We will also remind you of these rules at least once a year, as the IT Rules require. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new Terms.

15. Apple App Store users

If you downloaded Lungdi from the App Store, these Terms are between you and Lushai Tech, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content, has no obligation to provide support, and is not liable for any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
